Ezra's Birth Story

Whuz uuuuuuuuuup!!!!!!  I'm baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaack!!  *insert beat boxing* *insert running man*

(and now for a more dignified re-introduction...)

Hey guys, I'm back after exactly three months of no blogging (today is Ezra's 3 month birthday and I published my last blog the day he was born).  Please believe me, I had everything perfectly set up to blog about his birth story from my hospital bed immediately after delivering Baby Ezra, but things just did not go as planned.  So, here I am after quite a while, ready to get back on the blogging bandwagon.

There is so much to write about and I really do not know where to start--it's all a blur.  I will start with something I wrote when Ezra was just 3 weeks old, I actually posted this to my Facebook page:

"It's been a good 6 years since a little person, new to this terrifying world, needed me so much. To soothe him to sleep, to nourish him, etc. it feels good, satisfying, and it's all a little overwhelming but at the end of the day, I wouldn't trade it for the WORLD. thank you Jesus!"

Wow!  I still feel this way today, even after the euphoria of having a newborn has worn off.  I tell you, being mommy to three very different little humans has its challenges, but it also has its rewards.

Flag football is here, Zeke and Naomi are doing great in school, and the weather is warming up.  I've got a lot of new and exciting things I'd like to do, but with everything else I have going on, it's going to take a while.

Okay, so this probably doesn't really qualify as a blog post but it's a start!

I'm glad to be back on my virtual scrap booking venture!

xoxo

  1. Happy three months old Ezra; it sure went by fast. Next he will be crawling, getting teeth and walking.....where does the time go.
